Health and safety is of utmost importance and is managed pro-­actively throughout the organisation. We understand the importance of flexibility, adaptability and responsibility towards each of our customers and can provide technical expertise and advice necessary for efficient, reliable and cost-­effective use and maintenance of all electrical & security systems. We offer business and domestic clients a reliable maintenance and repair service including a 24 hour callout service.

Quality Assurance (Labour & Materials)

GERMAR is committed to ensuring that it conforms to the highest standards in labour and materials, so as to provide first class quality workmanship in all areas of the electrical sector and to the maximum safety standards. Only time‐served electricians duly qualified through
the SOLAS system (formerly FÁS) of training and as agreed under the terms of the N.J.I.C. agreement for the electrical contracting industry will be employed by the company to carry out the work required by clients. Our electricians are employed on the basis of having attained A.E.C.I standards. All apprentices employed by GERMAR shall be trained through the SOLAS system for electrical apprentices and shall be continually monitored as to their ongoing achievements for the duration of the training. As a company, we are committed to providing continuous education, training and development to all of our employees and staff. All materials purchased and utilised by the company shall conform to relevant IS or BS specifications. Only those materials that meet with the highest quality standards will be used for thefunction to be performed.

Health & Safety

GERMAR is dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of its electricians as well as others who are affected by the company’s operations through the Safety, Health & Welfare Act 2005. All employees hold a current Safe Pass and have also been trained in manual handling, MEWP, etc.
